Join us for an immersive afternoon to study Salix spp. and their medicine.
We start with an overview of the specific properties and historical uses of Willow, including their gift of technology and medicine. We sample preparations made from different parts of the plant, then head for a walk by the river. With open hands and open mind, we engage our whole body to meet the tree, activating our observation skills and our heart memory, taking time for silent attunement. We then learn how to harvest sustainably and deepen our knowledge by creating a preparation with Willow.
Herbal samples, identification tips and basics of herbal preparation will all be part of this special 4-hour journey.
Where? At the Herbal Hearth, our off-grid home and venue located in Mount Lorne.
Everything is included. All or most of the activities will be held outdoors.
