Join us for an immersive afternoon to study Pinus Contorta and their medicine.
We start with an overview of the specific properties and historical uses of Lodgepole Pine, including their gift of food, technology and medicine. We sample preparations made from different parts of the tree, then head for a walk on the bluff. With open hands and open mind, we engage our whole body to meet the tree, activating our observation skills and our heart memory, taking time for silent attunement. We then learn how to harvest sustainably and deepen our knowledge by creating a preparation with Pine.
Herbal samples, identification tips and basics of herbal preparation will all be part of this special 4-hour journey.
Where? At the Herbal Hearth, our off-grid home and venue located in Mount Lorne.
Everything is included. Some activities will be held outdoors.
