Join us and Maya Chartier from Akassiyah Art in an immersive afternoon to study 4 conifers of the Yukon.
We will engage all our senses to get to know each conifer and deepen our knowledge by creating an illustrated identification guide with inks. We will start by talking about the medicinal properties of evergreen trees, sample different preparations made with them, head into the forest to observe and compare them, and return ready to draw them!
Herbal samples, identification tips and basics of botanical illustration will all be part of this 4-hour exploration workshop.
Where? At the Herbal Hearth, our off-grid home and venue located in Mount Lorne.
Everything is included. Some activities will be held outdoors.
